Rutile-coated rod electrode

The thick rutile-coated stick electrode produces very uniform and fine-scaled weld seams are achieved. Permissible operating temperatures from 0 °C to 350 °C. Smooth-burning arc with fine-droplet material transfer and very low spatter formation. Self-lifting slag. Easy ignition and re-ignition.

Applications

For joint welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels, e.g:

• EN 10025-2: S 235 J0 – S 355 J0

Components from steel, machine, vehicle, pipeline, apparatus and container construction.

Processing instructions

Clean welding areas. Adjust heat conduction during welding to the component, its material and dimensions.
